It's a 12 week course that I found on the Nami site and I just started last night. The instructors are former students and feel as though this course was a life saver for them in learning to cope with mental illness in the family.

Has anyone ever gone to this? Hard to tell what I'll get out of it after the intro class, but anything is better than nothing, right?

Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance.

I really want to go through this class, but it doesn't seem to be offered anywhere within 100 miles of where I live and I can't see driving 150 miles each way with my work schedule.(I'd get there after the meeting ended) I hear it's a great class.

I have heard only wonderful things about this class.
All of my advice is based on experience and reading. I am not a medical doctor, and have never even played one on TV.
