MDJunction to me

saralaurie"In the 3 months I have been with MDJunction I have developed a sense of calmness. I now friends who do not judge me because I have been a mental mess at times. It is such a good feeling to have friends I can tell my deepest thoughts and always get back to me with their support. I have never seen a therapist for long periods of time. Right or wrong, this is the best therapy possible for me. Thanks Roy for getting this up and running and making such a difference in my life. Sara" (saralaurie)

tash,

TAKE YOUR MEDS..........

if they are making you feel bad, then please let your pdoc know. there are all kinds of different meds out there, that can help. you just need to get the ones that are right for you.

if you have been diagnosed with bp, it will never get better, only worse, without your meds.

let your parents know how you are feeling.

God bless

joyce

i am, in no way a dr or therapist.
the opinions on this thread, are just that, my opinions.
here to help however i can. whenever i can.
God bless all.

Tash, Take your meds!!! Tell your doctor AND your parents EXACTLY how you are feeling IMMEDIATELY.

Please know that my bipolar husband thought of ending his life at 19. He is now 52 and I am very very grateful he is still around. There is HOPE. There is JOY. There is LIFE. Bipolar can be managed well with therapy and the right meds. Do not give up!!!!!

All of my advice is based on experience and reading. I am not a medical doctor, and have never even played one on TV.

Tash! Take your meds!!!!! As married says, bp is not the end of the world, and you can have a healthy, happy life. But you MUST work with your dr. and parents to find the right med combination and learn ways to work around it.

Tash,

Be open with your family as well as your pdoc. If your medications aren't working for you there are alternatives. Life is worth living, you posting on here asking for help is proof of that. Don't hold anything back regarding your condition from your caretakers, they need to know everything. Bipolar is not the end, it's just a different road some of us have to take.

Be strong, we are here for you,

Eddie

Please take your meds...Stopping some of those meds abruptly can cause some serious side effects. First tell your parents don't worry about them being upset they get that way because you are their child and they can't fix this. No one wants their loved ones to hurt. Make sure you let your doctor know how you are feeling. Keep a journal and bring it to your appointments. Help those around you to understand so they can help you.
