MDJunction to me

jpcrps"When I found MD Junction, I was in the beginning stages of RSD/CRPS. I was scared, lacked knowledge about the condition, and felt very alone.

MD Junction changed all of that for me. I found friendship and terrific information from people who had first-hand knowledge of this syndrome. It was and still is a big part of my life.

MDJ was my first step on the journey of grief; from denial to acceptance. I am now inspired to help others by sharing this amazing site and sharing my own experiences. I am very impressed that one forum site can provide hope and inspiration to people suffering from so many different conditions. I am proud to be a part of this community.

When I was first diagnosed with Bipolar and PTSD my brain numbed, I felt like my life is over and I became angry and everything and everybody. When I came to the point of being "sick and tired of being sick and tired." I chose to educate myself and make my doctor and counselor earn their money and began to ask questions, I also began to read on being bipolar, Panic Disorder and PTSD. T the first thing that came after that was to accept the diagnosis and figure out to live with it all.

I did not do so good at first, it all was overwhelming and frustrating and to add to all of the above I had to stay sober. This all meant finding a doctor and going on meds and take them as perscribed. After all of this I made the decision that life is way to short to live it in a hole. After all of this me and my boyfriend, began to take long road trips, eat dinner in different places etc...We never really planned anything we did, we have no children so we were able to come and go as we pleased. We decided where to go and just got in the truck and went.

This all came with learning to take care of myself meds etc..Learning to take care of the Bipolar and PTSD was what enabled me to live my life.

Good for you. Accepting your condition and doing the things you need to do to be as well as you can be is a key to finding happiness, I agree. We can't change some things in our lives, like having bipolar, but we can do our best to manage the condition and take care of ourselves and our lives will be better for it.
With God, all things are possible

If you don't mind me asking, what caused your PTSD?
