Does anyone have things that belonged to your loved one that you just want to hang onto?

I want to keep a necklace watch my mom had. It has a beautiful religious picture. It is kind of silly but it makes me feel like I have a little bit of her.

Does anyone else do this?

I have dystonia, neuropathy, gerd, arthritis, and fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel and other ailments. I enjoy embroidery, music, and reading my Bible and Christian books. I love to bake. I try to be very supportive and positive.

Mom was an advid Elvis Presley fan. I have most of her Elvis things. I will not part with that memorabilia. We both enjoyed Elvis music and seeing impersonator shows. Mom died this past summer same month and day as Elvis. Maybe he's singing to her live.

I have my mom's china I use it for Holidays like she did it makes me feel closer to her. I also have in my wedding band a diamond from her wedding ring, one from my grandmother's wedding ring and a diamond from my husband's grandmother's engagement ring. we had our own setting made with these and I plan on passing them down to my daughter when the time is right.
