I know this is a hard topic. I thought it might help us if we told each other what still pulls on us.

For me I dont think Ill ever be able to sing "the Old rugged Cross " again. I rubbed my mom's hand and sang it it through her last breath. I knew this was her favorite song so I wanted her to hear it when she passed.

It is interesting that it is a song that touches us. I thought it was just me who really gets touched by songs.

The songs that my mother sang to me when I was a little girl have been popping into my head for a few weeks, but it makes me sad. Its so strange what time can do. The immediate past leaves and further back takes over...

We need to hold onto those good memories. She sang beautifully for you. How wonderful. You can sing those songs to your children or share them with your kids. They will be meaningful to you. You must get out of he past but take a piece of it with you. hugs

Jerred was so young when he left me that it is hard to say. Easter is one that can bring me to tears as that was his favorite holiday. His birthday and the ann date are teh worst I think I have had 2 successful times for each date that I made it through without any.

The power of prayer is the best gift any of us can give to another and it is free! God is good Always!

That is good Joy. It is so sad losing a child. I hope you know we are here for you. Holidays are hard for everyone. We should pray over the holidays for each other.

lately I feel so lost. I get such strange thoughts like I know how tired my mother was of the constant fight she was going thru, and now I feel like I'm going thru the same thing with the fibro, I know how she felt and it scares me. I now don't think I am any stronger than she was. Only she was 87.

I am here for you. You will get things better with the fibro. Sometimes it takes awhile to find the right combo of meds. It is good you can understand her fight but she did it for you and others because she loved you all.You get her strength from her. Get her determination to win over this. Dont let the fibro define you. You are a caring, loving, lady. You have talents, etc. She wants you to be strong and determine. If you need to pm me Im here for you. Here is my shoulder. I know the pain of fibro and loss. We can move on together with both. hugs
