Please tell us what advice you think would be good for someone who just lost loved one.

I am never sure what to tell people besides Im sorry. I think saving knick knacks or making a picture albumn helps.

It takes time to heal .Take it one day at a time . Talk about all the memories they shared .Knick knacks and photo albums are a good idea .

That is an excellent suggestion. It does take time for healing and letting things kick in. Thanks for your response. Anyone else?

Yes it takes time to heal and noone can tell you how much time that is. everyone is different in how they progress so you should never feel guilty or allow someone to compare you to someone elses experience. Talk about things. Offer your shoulder or ear to someone so they know they have a save enviorment to express their feelings
