I am 41 years old had two kids one @ 6lbs and the other @ 11lbs. I have been suffing with chronic pain in my back for many years now. I have gone to many spaecialists, and they refuse to touch my back. Make spin is shaped as a crazy 8 and the top part of my spine is over on my right shoulder bone. I had very bad whipblash. I have very little tissue in my neck and my nerves, can and will be set off very fast. If I could have surgery they had told me that I would only have a 25% chance to walk out of the hospital, and because I have kids I will not take that chance of never walking again. I have a suffer of this 22 years and I am still walking and driving. With this I have degeneate disc disease, scoliosis and osteproosis with all of this. So I am considered and danger of any sugeries. And I have MS that also runs in my family. I feel like a walking time bomb ready too explode. So yes I do suffer with alot of chronic pain for someone being very young. But I am a fighter and I will continue to fight for what it is worth.

Maryanne, welcome to the board. My goodness you do have a lot of stuff going on. Unfortunately I cannot have surgery either. I have an aneursym and no one will touch me. So I go through this chronic back pain every day. I have DDD, spinal stenosis and spondylolestheis. Plus scoliosis and osteopenia. It sucks, doesnt it!!

Maryanne,

welcome to the board.Like myself you have a lot going on in your life.

I've had chronic back pain for years, it was brought on by my epilepsy for all the years I went down in seizures on my back and still do.

Tomorrow I see my orthopedist and I hopefully will find out if I can have surgery. He's been talking about it he just doesn't understand the pain I'm in.
