Hello everyone, would you believe it was snowing today ( we are now in Spring)

My son who is now three and a half was diagnosed with autism at two and a half. This was a real shock to me as he is my only child and basically i had his life planned out for him. To make things worse he had other difficuties. He was asthmatic, has really bad ezcema sickle cell carrier, has lots of food allergies but he is not anaphilectic (spelt that wrong).

My husband soon left the house and seemed oblivious to the suffering and emotional torment he had left me with. He hardly took care of my son and i had to do it all by myself... even the family i had over here werent supporting me i felt all by myself....

At this time i was still working full time and some collegues at work used to look at me with respect.. sooner rather than later due to the lack of sleep ( because David wasnt sleeping) i had to quit my job, but luckily i used to sell stuff online so i did have some money coming in.

To cut a long story short i was full of anxiety for my son about his future, and it seemed that the more i read on autism the more i got confused, i thought i was an unfit mother as i couldnt control my son outside the buggy.. he would just go berserk and wouldnt listern to me and he had no sense of danger...

HOWEVER!! i managed to apply and was given disability allowance, i managed to get him statemented ~(Level 3 with 1 hour specialist support) and now my axieties are less but they are still there. David's food phobias are still there but at least i know when he is ready to eat he will!!

take care everyone!!

Ola
