I know this isn't directly coordinating with his Autism. But I'm hoping someone out there can help me.

Levi just got his new braces for his feet. They are plastic and go up past his ankles. They have 3 velcro straps a piece. The shoes Levi currently has don't fit these braces and neither do his next size up shoes. I was only told to take them when we get Levi fitted with new shoes. I need to know what shoes work with these braces, they are kind of wide and bulky.

We have an appt in a city with a Stride Rite this Friday. Would that type of shoe work? He has so many things about him that stand out, I'd like to find him a pair of shoes that look like kid shoes, not therapy shoes.

Thank you all for any info

Amy

Hi hun do you mean callipers on his legs

if yes they will have boots specially made for him.

or you can take his own shoes in and the will adapt them for thim.

How long have they said he has to them for

and what are they for <tip toe walking flat feet.muscle tone ETC)

They are very good my son has a pair of boots though he will not wear them they are very well made and sturdy but you can tell they are differant.

Your own shoes can be altered to fit him the may moan about it but they will do it,
