Hello Kris,

I have autism and find that most sites are about support for parents/carers of children with autism, but there is little (nothing I have found) that is specifically for those who are on the spectrum themselves. I am curious, as you are on the spectrum, to know if your site has much to offer ASD adults.

Thank you,

Christine

Kris,

Thank you for this. I have looked at your site and find interesting some of your suggestions. I just posted a reply to someone else here who has Asperger's. Maybe we will get a little group of adults on the spectrum together here? I liked the video you have in your site, though the one you made seemed to not be working. The lady (quite hyper) talking about what it is like to be autistic was great. I am going to show my husband. It is so hard for others to understand when we are not even able to articulate it all. I tend to just say nothing because there are no words for what is happening in my world. My brain is clever, extraordinarily so, but it I do not know how to drive it properly, so tellilng people about it would be like having to write an instruction manual. Too hard, want to scream, just count instead.

christine (are you Kristine?)

Hi mumandson,

I'm glad you like my site Yes, it would be cool to get people on the spectrum together...I have support group myself...its kind of funny and wierd, the people there say I'm more autistic than they are..wierd.

Its Kris, Kristine, both of them I just use Kris on my site and everything to make it easier

Yes, its too hard to explain through speech...even takes long time to write it out like in my website.

Kris

Check out our website too, www.anniebooks.com

My 17 year old son, also AS, did an interview with Global Talk Radio. Click and listen if interested.

Just added Autism and Phobias, Autism and visual distortions, Autism and toe-walking, why?, and some other ones too plus a ton of new info on Thimerosal and rats, and recent studies, etc. plus predisposition and Autism and twins.

Hi! Never got in my email that this thread had a reply... I will, though we are getting the speakers fixed

Kris
