For all parents who have struck by autism....... dear parents..... 1.stop blaming yourself for your child's problems. 2.Remember that you cann't depend on experts alone!!! you have to get involved too... 3.To change behaviour, use positive reinforcements instead of painful punishments and be sure to reward BRAVE efforts even if they fail... 4.Find a parent support group when the stresses of dealing with a difficult become overwhelming. 5.Take pleasure in small advances. 6.Be prepared to accept the pain that you will feel at times when your love for your child is UNREQUITED. 7.Try to keep the strain and fatigue of child rearing from scarring your marital relationship. work as a TEAM, not as antagonists.... love, peace, wishes for all..... |
