Hi! I'm new! I've been working with kids with autism for about three years now, both in school and in-home. Does anyone know any yearly salary information for working as an in-home consultant? For the head of programs, or any licensed providers. How rude, I know. But anything would be helpful. Or even how much the consultants that you employ may charge.

All I know is how much non-licensed providers get paid. I'm trying to find out which route, school or home, I'd like to go for long-term, but...salary is kind of important, haha. Especially when I'll also need to be paying for my grad degree(s).

Oh, anywhere would be helpful, but particularly if you're in Northern Virginia area. Thanks!

Depends on what role you want to take on. Are you going to teach? Or are you going to become a behavior analyst? Or will you offer inhome services to children with autism and work under a behavior analyst or other service worker?

I specifically want to know in-home information. I plan on getting my BCBA license, and master's degree. I don't the specific titles of the person who holds these degress in an in-home capacity, and it stands to reason they would have different titles in different places. But I generally mean the person who is overseeing the other therapists, and writing the programs for the kids, running the family/therapist meetings and what.

Ah, I see. Exactly what I am going for too! I am not sure on the salary you could expect to see in your area. Im not even sure of the salary in my area. My plan is to continue teaching and then consult in the summers. I believe with the demand for BCBA's the salary or per hour rate must be good. Let me know if you come across anything and I will do the same!
