MDJunction to me

"In the 3 months I have been with MDJunction I have developed a sense of calmness. I now friends who do not judge me because I have been a mental mess at times. It is such a good feeling to have friends I can tell my deepest thoughts and always get back to me with their support. I have never seen a therapist for long periods of time. Right or wrong, this is the best therapy possible for me. Thanks Roy for getting this up and running and making such a difference in my life. Sara" (saralaurie)

Hello all! My son, Justin, has been accepted to go to the Easter Seals Asperger's camp in Wisconsin Dells this summer. He is 7 years old and this will be his first camp experience. It is an overnight camp and he will be gone for 5 days.

I'm wondering what experience anyone can give about camps and how you may have prepared your child(ren). Unfortunately, we will not receive the schedule until a few days before the camp begins.

I cannot really comment on this I am in the uk and we dont have anything like that here.

I suppose if we did have the service I would not let my auties go not just for them but more for me(selfish cow I hear you cry lol)Has an adult with Autism I have my routines and rituls with my kids I do all the therpy by myself and all have become my routine just has much has the kids.

You could try ringing them or email explaining that you are anxious and would lie some information sooner rather than later.

But as everything with Autism it is trial and error at lest if it goes wrong you will know he cannot cope nd if it goes well you will know that he is safe and well and you can then plan something for yourself next time.
