i am new here and i am a 43 year old female recently diagnosed with ASD. apprently i have had this my entire life. i would say hind site my symptoms are classic and wish i knew then what i know now. last week i had the ASD procedure performed and i hope this helps me. i was always fairly thin and extremely active until about 4-5 years ago i started having a very hard time breathing and it was said to be asthma. so i went to so many docs and that did absolutely nothing for me. looking back i always since my late 20's had horrible migranes and terrible sleep. just this past october i had a mini stroke which set me on this path to find that i had ASD. i am really hoping to get better and all i want to do is feel better and be able to breathe and remain active. if anyone out there has any suggestions from diet to anything under the sun i am interested.....thanks a bunch mel

Hello and welcome my name is Deja and I have a five year old with moderate autism. I'm glad you finally figured out that you have autism sometimes it's just key figuring out what's going on with your mind in body so you can start to heal and learn how to cope with life. Are you working with any therapists?
