Hello my name is Lisa.

I just found out that my daughter has Polyarthritis. Doctor believes that she has a form of Spondyloarthropathies. Her symptoms started at age 8. He put her in Physical Therapy and put her on Naproxen, Folic Acid, and Methotrexate. She is in pain everyday, pain is in her feet, hips, back and hands. Knee pain and elbow pain comes and goes but feet, hips, back and hands are everyday. The last few weeks she has been suffering from fatigue. My next appointment with her doctor is in November. I have some questions, but don't really know what to ask. I am sure like all parents, I just want to take her pain away and fix this. Any advice would be great. Thanks

hi lisa. welcome to the group!

so sorry about your little girl. I was on Maproxen and Methotrexate, neither of which worked for me, so i pray it works for her.

Im the only kid on this site that actually has the disease, so i know what your daughter is going through. the pain everyday, the always wanting to sleep and never get up. but what i also know because im older, is that you feel lonley and helpless. you have no control over your body and its scary. so i know shes young, but therapy might help her if she wants it.

keep us updated momma (:
