If I feel like I have the flu, fever, headache, back and hip pain I know it's fibro. When my knees, thumbs, neck ache, burn, feel pressure then I know Arthur is paying me a visit. For me, flu, fever are the key to fibro AND SOOO tired I can, and do, sleep for days!!! Feeling like I've been hit by a truck. Used that phase many times.

Could someone PLEASE get this flippin' truck off me? My doctor called today. "Your blood tests all came back normal except for one showing you obviously have some imflammatory process going on which goes along with the thinking that this is an arthritic condition." I had some imflammatory language in my mind right there, let me tell ya. Not at him, just the situation. Do you know how many times I have heard that same 'report'? Oh, 20+ times over the last 20 years. I should just answer the phone, "Wait - let me guess: Normal?" ("Why yes, how did you know?"Wink Where's my gold star for good behavior? Where's that truck driver? Move! Avast! Weigh anchor! Up oars already! Remission, where are you?

I have RA, Fibro, and Vitamin D Deficiency, I guess the difference for me if its in the joints of my hands, shoulders, and hips I know it RA, if my skin feels sore, or I get constant aches, or "sore spots" combined with extreme fatigue I know its fibro, my favorite fibro pain is the voodoo pain(the sharp very intense stab of pain I get, I swear someone has a voodoo doll of me, and is sticking pins in it!)
