Now open for business! I wanted to have this board started because there are so many people still fighting to get their social security disability, some who are just starting to file their paperwork and some who have won their SSD. I thought it would be nice if everyone stopped by to get and give some tips, support others, and find out information. I have researched this topic a lot as I am in the hearing stage.

So come on by! Go to other support groups, Go to S, find Social Security Disability Tips Forum and join up! I would love to have you!!

Hey guys, I recieve SSDI. I applied by myself and was awarded the first time. No fuss no muss no lawyer. I have read on here that it is hard to get a positive result for some of you. Maybe I was reviewed by a softie, I don't know. Either that, or the person who did me was as crazy as I am. (lololol) Anyway my suggestion is this....when you apply, write & write & write on that application. Add extra sheets of writing. That's what I did. Tell them every single detail of your life that is affected by your condition or conditions and mention them all, no matter how small. Make sure that your Dr. or Dr's believe that you are worthy of the award. They will be the one's sending the reports of your conditions to the disability board.
