MDJunction to me

jayna01"My name is Jayna and I wanted to take this opportunity to say how much MDJunction has meant to me. I always felt so alone before I joined in April of 2012. I felt like there wasn't anyone that really cared about me and what I was going through. I felt like there was no one that would truly listen to me in what I was feeling. Nobody was there for me. That is before I found MDJ!

I have found and met such good people on these forums. I never ever knew there were such compassionate people before MDJ. It's also nice to know that I can come here anytime and get support for what I am feeling. I feel like I have met some wonderful life long friends. It is also an outlet for me to try and help other people that are hurting. It gives me a good feeling inside and gives me self confidence in helping other people.

I hope MDJ will be as good for you as it has been for me! Many Blessings and Much love.

I broke down and went to the ER last night. I signed in at 1051pm. I finally got to the back. The ER dr came in and wiggled my leg and pushed it up and down. He said we're going to do some xrays. OK. So the xray ladies came and got me. I went in there and they did 10 xrays of my ribs, shoulder, and hip. I went back to my room. The dr finally comes back in and says well the xrays look ok. The ribs look healed. We can see where they were broken but they look healed now. As for the hip and shoulder, I think it's arthritis. Call your PCP if it's still hurting by Friday and get a referral to an ortho. If it's hurting worse, come back. He gave me some loratabs(Sick ) and naprosyn. He claimed he was giving me some strong meds. Laughing . I also got a shot of toradol. Which is still burning by the way. I checked out at 430am.

I wish they would have done more for you, Amy. I like their idea of "strong" medicine.

I hope you get to feeling better soon. Keep us posted. I hate that you're in so much pain.

You know, I keep thinking there's a magic wand out there somewhere that will fix everything. I keep looking for it, but it's hiding from me! Tongue

Did you feel any better after going to the ER?

Not really Sue. I wish I'd actually gotten something "strong" too, but no, only loratabs which suck worse than the darvacets I'm already on. Oh well, I put in a call to my PCP(since they are so freaking slow) about the referall to the ortho. I made sure to tell them at UAB since I have free care there. We'll see how long that takes them.

I just don't think you are getting the help you deserve and need. I hope you get to see an orthopedist really soon.

Next Tuesday is my appointment. I will let you know what he says. I am eager to find out what and when. I am tired of pain. My right leg has eased off some now but I am afraid it will come back strong again.
