She told me the blood work tested negative for RA, but I do have osteoarthritis. She is going to have me try a medication for a month, to see if it helps, also to make sure it doesn't mess up my liver, or get stomach issues. I'm not to use the Voltaren Gel while on the medication. I sure hope it helps. I'll get the medication tomorrow. Donna

Thats good that you don't have RA. Most people get some osteoarthritis as they age. I hope your medication helps.

Thank you, Tova. I had to get it myself, my husband was supposed to take me, he didn't show up, I had to start on it this morning. The pain was bad while I was driving. It's a 20 minute drive from where I live, one way. The medication I'm on is Indomethacin 25MG. I have to take it with food. My doctor has me trying it for a month to see how I do with it. Donna

Thank you, hatbox. It didn't. It caused my asthma to flare up the first and second day I was on it. It's calmed down now, but then started with bad headaches from it the afternoon of July 4th until July 7th. I called my doctor and talked to her, that day, she told me to stop taking it. She started me on a new one called: Nabumetone 500 MG. So far, so good, no problems with it. Tomorrow afternoon will be the test, to see if it'll cause headaches. I sure hope not. I still have neck pain, which causes the headaches, but not as bad as what the medication I was on was doin.

I'll keep you all posted. Donna
