MDJunction to me

djfilippone"Before I found this site I felt so alone.  Watching my daughter struggle with IH and being treated like she had two heads from doctors.    I have plenty of family and friends but there was nobody that really knew what she was going through.
I not only have support and love from others who will listen and share their
story, but I have made some forever friends.  Having this support site does make a difference to many.

Hi folks,

I'm Mark and I had a blocked artery fixed 8 weeks ago. Now it seems to be closing up again because my calf pain is back. Isn't there a way to actually fix this? I had another bloodflow study done and it showed that I was still eschemic. When I exercise the pain comes. They have me taking plavix and Zocor but I'm still having trouble. Thanks for listening, MarkSad

Hi Mark,

I had two stents placed in my heart in May 1998 and 4 months latter had to have three more placed, one had to go inside of one of the prior stents because it collapsed, one for another blockage and the third was to fix a small tear.

My last one was in 12/2007 for a total of six-heart stents.

So they may be able to open that old stent up and place a new one in, like they did mine, but it may also depend on how big the vain is, if its to small they may risk tearing it and cusing even more damage.
