Appendix cancer

My sister was just diagnosed with Stage IV cancer of the appendix and would like to talk to anyone that has had this cancer. She lives on the East Coast and I am on the West Coast so it's been hard to get information about her cancer, her prognosis. She had her appendix removed, a hysterectomy and lymph nodes. As far as I know the cancer isn't anywhere else but she will be going through six months of chemo. Anyone that can help, would be great. Thank you.
