He personally didn't stop it, his body couldn't take it anymore. He became confused and bed ridden. His Christmas scan showed the cancer had continued to spread. He would have moments of clarity where he would tell mama we have to go get blood tested, in order to get chemo. January 19, 2013 he passed away at home with his wife of 47 years and four children surrounding him in his bed....
