MDJunction to me

2steveb" In life we all have trials and tribulations to endure weather it be physical, mental or social. For me personally when i encountered MDJunction i was astounded. Since i joined MDJunction to me it has been a god send and a life saver. I have met and been able to converse freely with so many people in the same situation as myself, (that alone is a big help, to know your not alone) to be able to discuss and get good advice from a braud section of people. One of lifes hardest things is to discuss personal issues with friends/family and yet the mdj family is non judgmental and you will be made totally welcome to talk through any issue thats on your mind. There are forums for every known issue to mankind, to me MDJ.com has become my family extension, id be lost without these good people and the extremely good guide lines that group leaders help us all with to keep threads topical and friendly." has anyone had any experiences where an over the counter med or vitamin has helped ease anxiety? i take neurontin now, which does nothing. i have a history of drug addiction and therefore don't take benzos anymore. but i feel like i am dying. i don't know how to keep going on without some relief...

Can you explain what you mean by you feel like you are dying?

Cause I've had that feeling too and I wonder if we're feeling the same thing?

HI Hun -

Are you in pain - the gabapentin /neurontin is frequently a nerve pain med or for siezures.

hugs

I am not a doctor - and my advice is purely from my personal experience and my opinion!!

I could need some relief too:/ I am taking B-vitamins and Omega 3, some sport would help a little bit...what else?

@ Arual001, Some people have reported some success with Lyrica after stopping benzos. It is similar to neurontin but stronger I believe. I have taken neurontin but it did not help me that much either. I would seriously start thinking about some of the non drug approaches. Unlike drugs, these require some hard work unlike swallowing a pill and waiting for it to take some psychoactive effect.
