MDJunction to me

MissNikkiAnn"When you have an illness with the name "Non-Familial Dysautonomia" (a name that most people, and even doctors, have never heard of), you need a network
of people who understand the name and the symptoms/issues that come with it.
MDJunction led me to that network of people during a very confusing and sickly time. For this I am thankful. And for this reason I try my best to give back to other members the same care and help that I received through MDJunction.

LoStinCyberSpaCe!!! So good to see you posting again.

I tell you what I first felt a headache then dizzy then I was weaving all over the house trying to walk.

I'm telling you he called and got sassy with me right in front of that friend telling me not to touch his stuff.

I was so hopping mad I was ready to tell him if he didn't get home and get that out of here I was throing it in the middle of the street to be run over by a car.

We have that junk house if he wants to be a freaking weirdo he has penty of room to do it there and I am going to tell him that.

I refuse to live like that with his craziness.

And believe me it has been crazy with him for years and I think I am about at the end of my rope with it-seriously.

Thanks for all the back up on that-I was hopping mad and smelling the fumes at the same time.

He said oh he has that room blocked off so that air doesn't circulate oh great those icky fumes will soak into the walls and floor and won't leave after he removes it that's how potent it is.

My mom brought me milk straight from a farm unpasteurized and I am supposed to try it.

I'm as nervous as heck based on those last 2 reactions-scary as hell.

I think I would feel safer drinking goat's milk but I don't know where to pick any up.

Way to get through that dog bath SS!Smile

Feeling little better. nausea isn't as bad as it was. Kelti I hope your nausea lightens up too.

Damsel motorcycle in the house??? That just sounds dangerous for everyone's health.

LIC so sorry your back has been hurting. I was out of work for over 2 weeks last year with mine. Hope you feel better soon.

SS air seems to be cooling for now but he didn't fix the problem causing all of it so its only a matter of time but at least its cooler now.

Thanks Damsel and Howtohelp922, just trying to curtail my posting somewhat and not overdo things. I would get carpal tunnel pain from posting too much on healthboards so bad until I would have to quit posting for 2-3 weeks sometimes.

I still enjoy reading when I am not actively posting.

I don't tolerate milk at all so I have basically given it up. I realize the milk is a huge source of calories for you Damsel so I hope you can find a workaround. Dr. Asa Andrews says if you are human and you insist on drinking milk from another mammal like a cow, you should only drink goat's milk because it is the closest to human breast milk available and will cause the least amount of problems for those who love milk. I am just repeating what he always says on his radio show. I have never been a huge milk drinker so giving it up was no big deal for me.

@Howtohelp922, I have tried the almond milk and I like it. That is what my mother drinks. I still do not like milk enough to buy the alternative stuff and keep it in the fridge on a regular basis.

Nut allergy.Sad

So I would assume if I'm allergic to almonds then almond milk is out.

The only nut I didn't test positive to was cashews.

But I've been afraid to eat them now.

It is a milk substitute for those who are allergic to milk, or lactose intolerant. Look for it next to the milk in the milk frig at the store. I believe there is also a couple of other things you might find there instead of just the plain milk.

Worth checking out.

There is also acidophilus milk free tablets you can get at walmart or especially the health food store. It really aids in digestion.Promotes intestine health, microflora balance, vegetairan formula. It comes in a chewable and a capsule. We go to the health food store so we can get the chewable kind. It should be stored in the frig so don't let the clerks tell you different.

Also good for anxiety is KavaKava tea. I get it at the health food store. Also good for digestion is ginger. We by it in capsule form at the health food store.

They have all kinds of things there for the digestion and I bet they even have a liquid milk sub there too that I don't even know about. I will check that out the next time I go shop there. These things can be pricey but it is better than being sick with stomach problems, not a cure all but sure does help.
