Thanks again Chris.

I am a little better today. I have my partner with me today so he is helping with things. I am so grateful to him. I will join the abuse group now I think. I know I have been putting it off for a while. Sorry to hear about your mum. I can't believe that she didn't do anything to stop what was happening to you. Just knowing that she knew about it really hurts me. My mum as far as I know didn't know about what was happening to me but when I told her she said, "Don't be silly, your father would never hurt you. You are trying to destroy my marriage and I won't allow it. You are vindictive and nasty for making such horrible things up". That really hurt me. I can't bring myself to see her or be around her right now. My mother is the same laying on guilt. She blames me and that in turn makes me blame myself. So glad that you set boundaries with her. Well done for that.

I'm also here if you need to talk,

Take Care

Thank you! I know that just thnking of being around her would bring on anxiety attacks! If there was a holiday or family get together would send me into an attack!!! They are very dysfunctional, at least they were until she went into a assisted living home. Now she can't drink unless someone takes her out.

I'm so glad you decided to join the abuse group! I hope we can help each other deal with all fo this. they are very sensitive subjects to be bringing up. My anxiety goes way up when I talk about it. I still have things to work through with the abuse issues.

I hope you are feeling better! Take care. Your Friend, Chris

Hey Chris, anxiety is awful isn't it but I haven't been suffering as much as you with it of late. I know what you mean completely about family get togethers. I have some family coming over here today for my sons birthday. I have to put on a brave face and pretend everythings ok until they've gone, very stressful. It is hard to talk about and deal with abuse and I would never force you to tell me anything. Just do it in your own time. Always here for you and thinking of you. Wish me luck today lol.

Your friend,

Gemma x

The day went very well thanks, he had a few friends over from school and had a blast. He was 13. I can't believe my boy is now in his teens lol. He had fun and that's all that matters. No problem, always happy to help you and support you. I'll always be here for a shoulder to cry on. Monday has set in with a passion. I hate Mondays lol. The family stayed out of my way yesterday which suited me fine. How was your weekend? I hope that you were about to get some rest and me time.

I'm off to get the kids ready, see you again soon,

Gem x
