I am 30 yrs old and I have had panic disorder for 19 yrs now on and off, well I can deal with panic attacks, they dont stay as long, but the anxiety, is just awful and unbearble at times!!! I am not a Doctor, just a person who experiences panic and anxiety and Im here to try to help people and also learn from them also. ;)

I`m sure you have tried all the normal things like breathing ,music ect.But I can tell you another to try ..Sit on the floor lean forwars head between your knees and breath in from nose out by mouth..Just give it a while it helps when I`m haveing a mild spell.. Thanks for the advice and welcome. Jolly, r u feeling any better? My counselor use to make me lay on my stomach when I was having one, cuz it forced me to breathe right or something, so try that to, if u are somewhere u can. Hope u r feeling better. I am not a Doctor, just a person who experiences panic and anxiety and Im here to try to help people and also learn from them also. ;)

Ya, I so know what you mean! And that is great you have a good support system, I do also, alot of ppl dont and it makes me so mad and sad, lol. But, i just know we will all get thru this, it may be here for a little, but then it will leave and then we have to re-learn like everything we use to know, to try to control them, but we can do it, Ive done it before and I can do it again and I know you can too! **HUGS** I am not a Doctor, just a person who experiences panic and anxiety and Im here to try to help people and also learn from them also. ;)

Sometimes some meds. work well for others and not so well for some. They tried so many meds. on me, i felt like a guinea pig, it was so fusterating, good luck & know we will be here!!
