Is this a symptom of anxiety and panic? I was just lying here, watching tv, and i started feeling "tingly". Then i felt this wierd pain/pressure near my temple on the right side. And now my face is numb. Ive felt this a few times before and the doctors have done mri's and cat skans and they said everything is fine. Ive had the flu the last few days, maybe thats it. But its such a scary feeling!! I can actually feel a pulse above my ear! What is going on with me? Im freaking out

MMMM....Maybe......I have never gone numb.....But I think the pain to your temple was the start of your bad thoughts .....which in turn turned out to be anxiety...Do you get what I mean?????
I am not a medical doctor.....My opinion is purely that....I try & give the best advice to help others from my own experiences.......

Sometimes we need to stop analyzing the past, stop planning the future, stop figuring out how we feel, stop deciding what we want, and just see what happens.

Forget the past, it has already happened, worry not about the future, it has yet to come. Concentrate on today, and make every moment count.

HI Carrie

If you had a cold and now are experiencing a head pain:

you probably got a little chill (to the head). Try putting a hat on that will cover over the forehead. It will help you to get rid of the pain. Guaranteed.

I hope you will be feeling better real soon.

Hey Bindi-

I think bad thoughts can cause a bigger pain than the head. Think lower.

Love, Raoul

Thanks you guys! Sometimes i just get so scared at my symptoms. My face isnt really numb per say, more like the feeling of your leg falling asleep or a sun burn feeling. I just looked in the mirror and im kinda flushed. Its starting to subside, but now im afraid to fall asleep. Ugh, just another great part of this lovely thing called anxiety. Thanks again for your responses!

Am copying this from the other thread - perhaps it will help Carrie.

Hi Bindi

You are so cute - Love your avitar's hat.

When a bad thought hits hard, when you just feel down, when you want to escape it all -

gee I wish I knew.

no, but seriously - Think instead of the most beautiful place you have ever been or seen in a picture.

Think of a spiritual place where you associate the presence of God or whatever you consider uplifting.

Think of something you like to do .

Think of someone (me for instance) whom you Love deeply (or your hubby). And think of a good time.

When you remove your thoughts from the dark thoughts, from the dark place and place your thoughts on a Light and Loving place and time and event - you will no longer be in the dark place; you will be back in the Light.

Love, Raoul

Carrie

I get funny feelings like that and my doctor believes they are migraines. I get really bad headaches where I can't see words on paper it all goes white. Light is awful and sounds are exagerated. I didn't know there was such a thing as migraines without pain. Just the numbness and funny feeling something is not right. I had all the tests too. I think the migraine answer makes sense. Good luck and don't be too scared. Those funny feelings won't hurt you.

headaches can be a sign of anxiety but the tingly feeling has me a bit worried sounds mor elike a nerve problem

have they ruled out tmj- this is a problem with the mandible or jaw joint

it can cause headaches, ear aches, throat, nose and teeth problems

inflamation in the jaw can cause a tingly feeling to your face because of the nerve pack near the ear getting pinched

Please, please forgive me,
But I won't be home again.
Maybe someday you'll look up,
And, barely conscious, you'll say to no one:
"Isn't something missing?"

You won't cry for my absence, I know -
You forgot me long ago.
Am I that unimportant...?
Am I so insignificant...?
Isn't something missing?
Isn't someone missing me?

Even though I'm the sacrifice,
You won't try for me, not now.
Though I'd die to know you love me,
I'm all alone.
Isn't someone missing me?

Please, please forgive me,
But I won't be home again.
I know what you do to yourself,
I breathe deep and cry out:
"Isn't something missing?
Isn't someone missing me?"

Even though I'm the sacrifice,
You won't try for me, not now.
Though I'd die to know you love me,
I'm all alone.
Isn't someone missing me?

And if I bleed, I'll bleed,
Knowing you don't care.
And if I sleep just to dream of you
And wake without you there,
Isn't something missing?
Isn't something...

Even though I'm the sacrifice,
You won't try for me, not now.
Though I'd die to know you love me,
I'm all alone.
Isn't something missing?
Isn't someone missing me?
