MDJunction to me

Claire138"It's been a year since I joined the Parkinson's Disease Support Group on MDJunction and all I can say is thank you all for the support, compassion and friendship I've received and been able to give as well. It was a lonely night when I came upon this site, but the nights aren't that lonely anymore...
With gratitude to all...

Hi Damsel

A corageous woman is not one without fears but one who confronts them. Remember " You have nothing to fear but fear itself"? I am a fear based person. I learned it early on in life. I have spent my life trying to live without ( avoidernce of) fear. Actually avoiding the confronting of it.

I give myself credit yet I know I could have done more I Think of your courage facing your health issues. Your taking on the group leader position . How scarey is that LOLLaughing W00t Tongue

Some changes come with aging. Memory is one thing. It isn't an old persons thing. it starts as young as 50.

I can relate to your feelings/ thoughts. Everytime my physical conditions change I grieve loss.

I have to tell of my experience with adrenalin. When I get an over load of it , it affects my muscels. I have essential tremors. I become weak and shake like jello. If a person dosent have muscel issues then it does give strength. People pick up cars.

I am still working to find out the cause of the adrenalin rushes . There must be something hormonal . I need to find a endocrinologyst and talk to him about this .

I had the adrenaline surges thank God they stopped.

They would come out of no where and I'd have several strong ones in a row that felt like they would kill me.

I did go to the endocrinologist and norepinephrine levels were double what they should have been.

I think the high state of anxiety itself was causing an increased level of adrenaline and the panic attacks that just seemed to come out of the blue I think were from those high blood levels of the hormone.

Now that my anxiey levels have come down not so much so and maybe levels are even normal.

At the time though it just felt as if my body had gone haywire.

There must be a reason for the increase in adrenaline levels , and i guess it's diet . I am not sure if the body can produce that much adrenaline if it doesn't have the resources needed for this . It's something in my diet , and i need to check my triglycerides levels again .
