I really hope things get better for you. It's good to realize you need help though! Sometimes reaching out for help is the best thing you can do...if things get so bad that they're completely overwhelming. If you have a friend or family member that you can at least share with how bad you're feeling...that sometimes helps a little too.

I've been there and I know how scary it is. Don't isolate yourself too much. Call the dr as your first step and they may be able to recommend a therapist or someone to talk to. Hang in there, hon. I know how scary it can be.

When you change the way you look at things...the things you look at change.

Hi Charlie.

First - welcome to the anxiety group....I am so confused whether I have even welcomed you before.

Second, you hang in there. ....... We will help you over this.......

....sit down and take a nice deep breath.

....now think of something beautiful.

....now start to breathe regularly.....count each part of your breath first -

........in , 1 2 3 4 5 6

........ Hold your breath for 1 2 3 4 5 6

........out, 1 2 3 4 5 6

And repeat that slow breath .......repeat for 10 breaths at a time....

If you still feel anxious ......repeat breathing again.....

I you have any meds available .....take one pill to help you to deal with this.

If no meds, call your family doctor and ask for something for anxiety and depression.

Hugs, Raoul

I am not a doctor - and my advice is purely from my personal experience and my opinion!!
