I am a big mess. I have an appointment with a new doctor. I am praying he will help me. I just want the same Med's I have been on for 12 years. I am angry and sad. I know my own body and what works for me. Why won't Doctors Just listen. My major trigger is my stomach and bowls I am in alot of pain right now. Panic all day yesterday. I am trying to be positive. I keep telling myself this Doctor will Help. But the fear of going thru this for about the 20th time is winning. I just want it back to the way it was 4 months ago. I still had panic attacks but i was in control. Now I don't know what I am. I am always crying, fearful, lost, and angry. Feeling alone and Helpless. I want to leave my house and feel good about it again! Thank you.

Hi charlie22

Your feelings/ fears are very familiar. Yes, I too wonder if doctors listen to their patients. Do they ever give us credit for knowing ourselves and our conditions. We are often at their mercy.

When a person has an ongoing condition we get to see our Dr's in full swing. We realize how limited they really are. If it anint broke, don't fix it. Did you sk the Dr . why he wants to change the meds.? My Dr. when I was in a psych unit took away my major pain pills. he said I was in this for the long run and these pills were of the addictive nature.

Same here he said they were addictive. And the psychiatrist I saw for 12 years was not a Doctor And this doctor was a GP. Thanks for your support.

Hi

Psycharitists have a Dr.'s degree. The GP is not qualified to deal with meds for mental health. There I said it...I have been so burned by Dr.'s that my trust level is low.

I just had a run in with the supervisor of social workers. I said my social worker was inappropriate. She said " Well, I asked her and she said she wasn't" dahhhh. I said "what did you expect her to say?" I am so frustrated.

Doctor , doctor everywhere......and all so dumb.....

I fire doctors all the time.....they upset me so much.

So.........just sit back and do your best.......he is the one who could be performing.

But....make sure you bring a list of what you want to cover with the doctor with you and you

Go over everything with him or her.

Hugs

I am not a doctor - and my advice is purely from my personal experience and my opinion!!
