I have read alot on panic and I am confused. Some say to fight the panic or challenge it. Others say to just let it happen. I need input on this trying to figure out what is best for me. Thank you.

Well panic is our sympathetic nervous system fight or flight kicked into gear.

So you can try to get yourself more into the parasympathetic mode by trying to practice behaviors and doing exercises that make the body lean more that direction.

Panic will take it's course and your body will eventually relax.

You can do breathing exercises when your panic begins to help ease your body out of panic back into a relaxed state.

Physical changes occur when that sympathetic system is activiated.

To reverse that you want to be more in relaxed mode.

Hi Charlie 22

It is confusing. Remember that you are looking at what's best for you. Read up on the suggested stratagies and go from there. It depends where you are at in your recovery and what support and tools you have availabe.

There is no set in stone plan for recovery that fits everyone.Silly

HI Ginag Thank you. I read the link you provided. As a child I would have been under HYPOSENSITIVITY TO MOVEMENT (under-responsive). I still some of these actions like rocking, can't sit still, legs always going. Some thrills but not much right now. My mother still yells at me for doing theses things. LOL So What does this mean and what can I do.
