I have dealt with depression and anxiety all my life pretty much. But the last few years, I can get so upset or worked up over something and I feel rage. I just wanna yell stop, make it stop or be quiet. Every little noise gets on my nerves! I dont know if its anxiety manifesting itself that way or not. Im also dealing with some PTSD from my best friend taking her own life in '08, and thats when the anger started. Its not everyday, or even everytime I have anxiety issues, but it does happen and Im not an angry person. Im having issues right now with my 16 yr old daughter and it dosent help what so ever.... wondering if anyone has experianced anger as a form of anxiety, or know of it happening???? please I need som feed back on this one...Dizzy

I'm an Advocate

Hi

First God bless you and I lift you up in prayer. Mostly because you have a 16 year old. They know EVERYTHING. loll I went through that when my niece was 16. OMG

There is a thing called sensory overload. I have had moments when sounds and crowds are just to much. Our sences are overly sensitive. I know others who have anxiety and have sensory overload too.

I am so sorry to hear about you friend. I am familiar with losing a loved one to suicide. There is a death in the family site. I think there is a survivor of someone elses death from suicide in MDJunctions lists

of groups.

I have heard that rage/ anger is depression turned inward. I'm sure it's hard to resolve your friends death.

keep posting.Smile

Hi Welcome. That's an awful lot to be going through. Depression and anxiety can also bring on anger and rage. I'm sorry for the loss of your friend. Loosing someone would definetely bring out anger. It happened to me after my mom died. Docs played a role in her death unfortunately. I was angry that she was dead and they caused it. I was so angry I would speed, any little thing I'd scream at and tell people off. I still feel ange about that. I also feel anger about little things too. I don't sleep much and that affects my mood also. I can't stand to hear my kids when they fight or laugh real loud. I guess I'm saying that I can feel angry will quickly too. Rage though is something not to ignore. Definetly need ot talk to someone about it. Sometimes it has to do with mood swings and may need medication or adjustment if you are taking meds. Hugs, Rachele
