Hi everyone, I was just reading that a new reality TV show called Starving Secrets (hosted by Tracey Gold, who suffered and recovered from AN) just premiered. I didn't watch and probably won't be. Not saying anything against the show, I am just so scared of triggers (seeing someone thinner, thinking "I need to be that way"), even though the whole point is that I don't need to be that way! How do you guys feel about AN in the media? Do you avoid it in articles and tv shows on the topic? Do you find media attention on it is actually helpful? Curious to hear your thoughts  |
