I am sorry you are trapped in the capital profit system. When I had my cleaning business I had access to new information coming into the administrative office of a small corporation. The insurance brochure for the employees was called Your Health Care Management but the brochure for the ownership was Your Health Cost Management. The first was to encourage union members to vote for the health plan and promised to care for them if they had a health crisis. The second assured the management that they would limit their exposure to health care liability. That is where you got caught.

What works best is a provider like the chiropractor that I worked for that offers a plan where you get the care you need at a fixed cost. How did it work? Clients could come as often as they needed to stay out of severe pain; no charge for two visits in the same day. Minimum number of visits were required for each month to remain on the plan. Why did it work? The clients that came frequently enough to maintain there spine had less severe symptoms and required less effort to maintain. Those that had Health Management insurance had limited visits and higher co payments and therefore did not receive sufficient care for their spine to improve, required more effort and staff time to make reports to justify the care they were allowed. Therefore it was more profitable for the doctor and satisfying to the doctor and client to be on a plan than to be an insurance patient.
