My husband had a heart attack two weeks ago when we were on vacation in the Finger Lakes in NY. I drove him to emergency, he had 4 arteries blocked and now has 4 medicated stents after his catherization. He is now on heart pills for the rest of his life. He has diabetes and high cholesterol and that's what they say caused his heart attack. He no longer can eat red meat, diary products, can not smoke anything. He feels better than he has for years but I feel that I'm suffering from anxiety and find myself checking in the middle of the night to make sure he's alive. Has anyone gone through this? |
