i went to my old job yesterday, and was talking to a iraq vet. he had his back and neck messed up in iraq when chasing a sniper down on a building and was knocked off, and carrying a 80 pound pack and ammo,

they gave him some morphine and pain pills and he went on. so couple years later he started having these bad back and neck problems. they discharged him from army, he was a larp. after 24 years without taking care of him. now he can not walk to well and had a steel rod inplanted in his back with probes to kill pain. now it has quit working . he can not sit down without pulling wire terminals out of his back, he is trying to work like this for a gov't office. he has a wife and 3 young kids. the VA is giving him the run around, even it was a army problem. how can we love our country when we are treated like this?
