MDJunction to me

Group Leader

It was wonderful to wake up today and see two new members have found our group!

I wish I could stay here all day trying to rewrite my responses to your first posts! But I can't. Today I have commitments that I can not put off, or believe me I would!

I want to tell I know how hard it is to post anything here! When we have anger issues it seems everything is laid on our shoulders and is our fault. I don't believe that!

This Group is here for whatever help or support you need! Wether it is only to vent, or for a shoulder to cry on, for sugjestions , or for exploring ways to get this demon under control!

Many of us have faced and lived thru incredible hurts and injustices, but were still here! Yes, we have issues and many of us have additional mental health diagnoses as well. For me it is brain injury, for others it is BP disorder, Asbergers Syndrome, depression, the list is endless!

I think all of us share a desire to find a path thru this mess! I don't think any of us are looking to use our illnesses to excuse our behaviors, or we wouldn't have come to this group for help...And I don't think any of us expect life to come without problems...

We need and want to change! To do that, we need to have a safe place to talk about our Anger issues and help eachother find ways to reduce them! We will never have lives free of anger, it is part of being a human being, IT IS NORMAL to get pissed off! We just need to find ways to stop it in it's tracks when we feel ourselves going over that point of no return!

So, Come on in, kick off your shoes, pull up a chair, bring your coffee! Let's get to know each other! Then we can learn to trust each other with the hard things! Each of us got here on a different path and the path out will be yours and yours alone. What I mean by that is that what works for one, may not work for another, but together we can find coping skills that will help all of us... Together!

We are not alone in this struggle, none of us, but thank Your Higher Power, that you can see the problem needs attention. Most never do!

I also want to thank you for coming and posting! It lets us let you KNOW YOU are not alone! We will help in whatever way we can! So don't give up, and don't give in! Don't lose hope, it won't get better overnight, but if you keep working, it will, it must, get better!

HUGZ AND A TICKLE!
