buster....I had two aneurysms in the same area, one in 2007 and one in 2008....they both ruptured and bled out into the brain area and was re-absorbed back into my system. Mine were both near the center of Willis deep in the brain so surgery wasn't an option. I was very sick and was in the hospital for the first one but the second one I just layed in bed for a week....I new I had one but knew that the doctors couldn't do anything....I know it was stupid of me not to go to the hospital, so I called my Rheumatologist and she ordered an MRI and sure enough it was another one....this one was smaller then the first. I am doing okay from this....mine are due to Vasculitis Lupus in the brain.

How are you doing with this?

So far I am doing fine-at times if I am under a lot of stress I get light headed, but not often.Do you have any short term memory problems or become agitated any? I believe mine was the result of a vehicle accident and don't know if it was from the bump or from the aneurysm but there is a lot I have forgotten (such as some memories from my childhood and from my children growing up), and at times I have left my oven on. But I cannot complain to much I am doing better than I was.

I don't have problems with remembering things that happened when I was a kid but I do have problems remembering things I did yesterday or a week ago, thought it was just because I was getting older but my Neurologist said it's from the aneurysms and where they happened.

I'm glad that your doing better these days...I am actually doing better myself, I believe the infusion medications I am having are helping the Lupus stay under control.
