I'm due for my blood work follow-up to iron infusions in two weeks. Two other docs have me scheduled for their bloodwork a few days before that. Do I need to worry about having so many blood draws within a few days? Will it affect the outcome of the tests for the infusion follow-up? TIA

It shouldn't - they don't take that much. I remember my PCP joking w/ me about not wanting to take too much blood from an anemia patient who didn't have that much to give. Smile You can lose four 16 oz bottles of soda worth of blood and not even notice. (Thank you to the ER physician who told me that one!) Hope your infusions are making a difference. Keep hydrated and get in as much light cardio as you can - that builds RBCs. Hang in there!!!

Yet God is committed to revealing the weakness of our flesh to us. He wants us to have a leaning heart at the end of the journey. He desires that we would not find our confidence in our commitment to Him but in His commitment to us."

Thank you, Cbelle.

I was concerned because I had lost so much blood in early March due to a GI bleed. Had to have two pints of blood while in hospital. Don't want to do anything to mess up the results.

Thanks again. Smile
