That was indeed corny love it! My neighborhood kid came over today as usual to play on facebook and was distressed that he could not go play football afterschool because his legs were bothering him. I told him that was too bad and yeah, I understood because I too have had mine bothering me and wasn't sure what it was. Not a joke here but the look on his face and his jaw dropping for lack of what to say sure was funny!

Jerry, LOL LOL That is too much. I always, and I mean ALWAYS make fun of my situation why be all glum all the time right. One of my favortite lines is I tell people I used to be six foot tall until I lost a foot. I said that one at a Boy Scout Leadership training and you should have heard the groans, but the best part is there was one guy and I am not kidding waited a few seconds then burst out laughing, a little slow on the uptake, 1. He could not believe that I said that and 2. He thought it was the funniest thing he had heard in a long time. I love making people smile or laugh.

I do too, and what makes it more fun is that it the last thing one would expect an amputee to do. Since I am always in the w/c when asked how I am I always answer "just merrily rolling along" with a big smile. There is no doubt in my mind that I have helped many people who are dealing with their own lifes problems. I have a tee-shirt I sometimes wear to the grocery store that has "leg story $10.00" on the front and another for "wheelchair story". White with black letters. No money yet but a lot of grins!
