sarahtroy"There's a special place in my heart for MDJ's Bipolars dealing with Alcoholism support group. As an alcoholic in recovery, it is my safe harbor. I draw strength and hope from our Bipolar alcoholics and addicts who bravely share their experiences and courageously face our common demons. This is a special, close and safe group to explore any alcohol or drug issues. I have made many dear friends and been sustained by the love and acceptance so freely offered." (sarahtroy)

First and foremost it might sound funny but write your congressman and represenative!!!

It seems now with every one being up in arms that they may not be voted back in it seems their helping vets, and everyone who gets a hold of them!!!!Glad you've come and hope you'll come back again and if need any more help were always here to try and figure things out when you need the help!!!

Blessings

Debi

Welcome jim99! Like Debi suggested, write to your Congressman and Represenative. Keep on hounding them!

Welcome to the group, I am a veteran and I get my legs approved from the VA. First is your disability service connected? That is the big thing, but like others have said, contact your Congressman also contact any service type organization such as the DAV, VFW, American Legion etc. and ask to speak with their VA service officer, he/she will be able to help you out.
