i know Retrograde Amnesia is where a person does not remember anything before brain trauma. I want to know if that person knows information is missing or can they lose memory up to a certain point? like can they only remember up until they were 10 years old?

Yeah, you can remember exactly like the way you described. You can have memories from childhood but no memories from high school or college. That's how I am, although the childhood stuff is very minimal.
