We finally have an offer on our house and my husband really doesn't want to move. But we were advised by our atty that this move is important. Now we are looking to down size in a condo but really can't afford the prices of condos and especially condo fees. I feel like all this is falling on my shoulders. I am so use to my husband helping me make these decisions that I get scared sometime. I am still trying to take one day at a time. His memory is getting worse.

Glad to see your update PT. Do you have any grown children? You need someone with a clear head to help you with business matters now that your husband is unable to. Do you trust your attorney? If so, he/she may be the one you need to turn to for help in decision-making now. Has your real estate agent told you the offer on your house is a fair one according to today's market prices? If you are going to have to move anyway, don't let a fair offer go by through indecision. Depending on your reserve funds, it may be unwise to spend more on a condo than you get for your house. Will your income be enough to cover condo fees? These are all questions you likely know the answer to, but what is hanging you up is fear of your husband's disapproval. Remember, he is not in any shape to make decisions like this now. Find someone you trust to give you some moral support. We're thinking of you and wish you well. ANW

I have a son who has been giving me advise (he works at PNC) He lives in Cleveland - wish he lived closer. Also my realtor said it was a very good offer. Just a worry wort I guess. Thanks for being there for me.
