What to expect?

My husband was diagnosed with alports when very young and lately has been having major complications that landed him in hospital for a week. And now his kidney function is very low and creatine and other levels are high. And we finally am getting his blood pressure down. But my question is what are we to expect from here? Is there anyone out there that can offer us an insite. Things are gloomy!
