MY NAME IS NORMA and I am a recovering alcoholic... see that wasn't so bad was it?...still hard to say after all these years. I have been sober for one year and 3 months...in the past I have stayed sober for as long as 8 yrs.. Alcohol was a way of self-medicating myself because I have bipolar disease...that is my story...I was in therapy for years...doing fine right now...take one day at a time...

Hi Norma, I just wanted to say congrats! Not just for being sober for 1 year and 3 months, but for having the courage to try again not give up on yourself. I always thought my mom wanted to stop. I could just see it in her eyes, she never tried. I believe the thought of stopping and dealing with the pain that caused her to drink was too much to make her stop. But not you! No matter what is going on, no matter what caused you to have a drink YOU HAVE THE WILL and for that my heart goes out to you. It's so easy to label people, not may stand up and say "hey good for you, you can do this" So keep that fire in you. I know it's not an easy thing to do, Keep up the good work! YOUR WORTH IT!!!!

Thank you, but, I really can't take the credit for this, I asked for and got help from God. Have to give credit where credit is due...
