It never fails, every party i go to someone asks me why im not drinking. I tell them im an Alcoholic, and its like you can hear a pin drop it becomes so quite... The person that asks me usually says OMG im sorry I asked you this question. The question doesn't bother me its the reaction that most of them have that does. I bet half of them are alcoholics and don't even know, or they do know but are in denial. But at the same time i feel power because i have no problem saying im an Alcoholic. Im an Alcoholic monster, RAARarrrr... lol

any one else get this?

My family act like I have leprosy or something. It's like, how can you not drink at all??? I have one uncle that for the 18 years I've been sober he's been trying to get me to drink. The last time he did it I said, "No, thanks, do you want to go to an AA meeting with me, it seems like you're drinking quite a bit?" He hasn't tried to get me drunk since. It is funny. I mean, I could get drunk, throw up, pass out, that would be more acceptable to them than to admit I was an alcoholic and to stay sober, huh?
