Well I can't believe I made it a year! The funny thing is I haven't had a lot cravings this last month. It was definitely hard around the holidays but stayed away from trigger parties. It has been also hard since I have been dealing with my hubbies health.

I am just glad for today, and those who think they can't make it 30 days that was me and now I am at a year. Not easy that is for sure but with AA, good sponsor, and this group it can happen.

Congratulations, CrazyCat!!! You said you didn't have any cravings in the last month, that's the miracle of the program of AA. It works when you work it. And then one day you wake up and you don't want to drink. Keep coming back.

Thx, it feels good. The scary thing is I was very close to going out tonight to get drunk because of things but I am sooooooooooo glad I decided not to self-destruct, instead I am posting. I need to realize that I cannot deal with things by drinking and I had to look ahead and tell myself after I get sober they will still be there. So for now I am sober and thankful!
