Oh I got an A but was told I could of gotten an A+ had it not been for the ending....However I didn't care as that is what I read in the book the teacher gave me!!

When I told her this in private she gave me a look of death(proved to me she didn't read it)

I did leave out many things I did read as Florence was talked about for decades after she died.

She did many things for the soldiers others refused to and some very personal(like write letters to their girlfriends or mothers and put poems in them and let the young women think the young man had written them.) She did this for only the ones who she knew would not make it.

I thought that was very romantic as so many young ladies lost loved ones and it gave them closure. To think of a poor mother whose only son died for the cause whether north or south and she had that one letter he wrote to her stating his love for the first woman he ever loved."His mother"

Being Agor is almost as bad as the last job I had!!!
I really have to work at it 24/7 and don't get paid either.

Then it makes sense when a woman of compassion and courage is called Florence Nightengale
I desire to inspire before I expire.

PCP my primary care Phys.

Florence would kick his butt!!! She was not very well liked by MD's as she studied everything a woman was allowed to read on medical issues. She sometimes knew more than they did and you know how men's egos are LOL!!!

It's a wonder they didn't burn her at the stake she was so hated by men but she got lots of money coming in from all her rich friends and so they had to bite their tongues.

If it had not been for Florence nursing would not be what it is today.

She was from England and well versed in many things woman then didn't think a woman should bother with.

She saw a need and she made things better.

She was like a Mother Teresa of her time.

Now a days, that is lacking. Women of substance. I can't think of any that are leaders in today's society that can even compare to the likes of Florence Nightengale and Mother Theresa.

Can you think of any?

I desire to inspire before I expire.
