MDJunction to me

2steveb" In life we all have trials and tribulations to endure weather it be physical, mental or social. For me personally when i encountered MDJunction i was astounded. Since i joined MDJunction to me it has been a god send and a life saver. I have met and been able to converse freely with so many people in the same situation as myself, (that alone is a big help, to know your not alone) to be able to discuss and get good advice from a braud section of people. One of lifes hardest things is to discuss personal issues with friends/family and yet the mdj family is non judgmental and you will be made totally welcome to talk through any issue thats on your mind. There are forums for every known issue to mankind, to me MDJ.com has become my family extension, id be lost without these good people and the extremely good guide lines that group leaders help us all with to keep threads topical and friendly." My mom is coming with me Smile I've been having a hard time driving lately even without the Ativan because the anxiety has been making me so dizzy (and inner ear problems= dizzy lately too) Smile

I am glad that your Mom will be driving you and going with you.

Bring some water and maybe even some relaxation CD's if you have some to listen to while you are in the car. Good luck! Smile

Hey everyone!

just wanted to say I made it to the doc's and she gave me celexa, ativan, and zyrtec because she said the inner ear weirdness is caused by fluid buildup that she can see in my ears. She was really nice-well worth the difficult drive! Thanks you for all the support everyone!

Hi banaberry!

Well today is officially the 7th day that I've been on it and I don't notice a difference yet. I suppose I'm slightly less anxious, but not enough to note really. I haven't dealt with any side effects yet which is great Smile I'm still on the lowest dose (10mg) and my doc said she wants me to stay on it for another week and then we will probably be bumping it up. I'm just trying to stay positive and hopeful and not over think it too much you know?

I've also been doing other things to get better. I've been trying for 50 minutes of exercise every day and so far have gotten about 30-40 every day. Smile I'm hopeful, but also hesitant and don't want to get my hopes up.

How are you doing?

Hey that is great that you are not having any side effects. Is the ativan still working well for you? When you took the ativan and you were traveling did you have any panic or just moments of anxiety? I am doing ok, this summer I haven't had much motivation to work on exposure because of the heat. I do get out but not as often as I would like. I'm not on meds, I have terrible med phobia.
