My friend, 'tina1234',
I earlier stumbled across an angry rant by 'fehrbehr' ( BTW, whom I've never met, and maybe only seen once, before ). It was only my intention to reply in what I had hoped would be a reasoned and concilliatory manner, asking him to reconsider leaving, as admittedly, we all need each other, and often, shy, unsure, and hurting 'newbiews' come to us, hesitantly, afraid, desperately seeking some balance in their lives, frequently unsure of their recent diagnoses, medications, or feeling as if their worlds are falling apart.
They tentatively come to us, for our life experience, and for the well-demonstrated caring, support and help I've seen kind members respond to again, and again, to offer hope, help and friendship; not very long ago, I was such a one, as I hope my profile will attest.
I remain ever grateful for your most kind help, and for you befriending me, even when I hurt my worst, and live alone.
I understand that--like family members who have known each other for such a long time, that--occasionally--minor squabbles are just part of being normal.
However, I have read your responses. I know the depth of your caring, for I have personally witnessed accepting minds, welcoming arms, and ever open hearts; this is the group I visit most, and the group that I call home.
If I was wrong to post my response to 'fehrbehr' via a hug to all my friends, and have--in process--made an ass of myself, I can only please ask for your forgiveness. Maybe its me who's being too hypersensitive, especially when, as I am now, I am so very ill, and my Primary told me last week that she no longer knows what to do for me.
When I've said--on many an occasion-that I love you dearly, I actually mean it.
And would never knowingly hurt you.
I would just like to see some peace within the group, along with a rededication to ever be there for each other, and for 'newbies'. That's all.
BTW, 'tina1234', on numerous occasions, I've worked as a dishwasher, which my late dad used to call, 'pearl diving'. while it certainly keeps your hand clean, one of my dishwashing jobs was for a college cafeteria; I always hated it when some yahoo would stick two plates together with mashed potatoes, and me, with hot, wet, soapy hands, trying to pry them apart. All it took was one, three-minue delay, to back the line up.
Plus, I tended to drop, and break a lot of little juice glasses. LOL
You just can't make everyone happy even if you try.
